Registration Fees & Dates:

  • Registration is $65.00 p/dancer.
  • Registration will begin for all current I AM DANCE students in July of 2024 and NEW students on August 1, 2024.
  • No discounts will be given on registration fees. 

All students are required to pay a $65.00 registration fee and complete the online registration before the student can be added to the class. Payment of the Registration Fee secures your dancers spot in that class. Once classes begin and the student’s registration has NOT been paid, the student will be dropped from the class.  If student is taking multiple classes, they will only be required to pay one registration fee.  Siblings and or parents in same household will be given a discount on monthly tuition, but not registration fees.

Monthly Tuition & Fees:

Tuition is based on a monthly rate beginning in August and ending in June (40 weeks). Tuition is the same regardless of number of lessons in any given month. Five week months compensate for classes not held due to holidays. Studio schedule will follow local ISD schedule for closings and holidays. If a situation occurs where less than 3 classes are held in a month, the director will schedule a “make-up” class day for those particular classes.

  • TODDLER CLASSES: Monthly Tuition $65.00 p/month
  • REGULAR CLASSES: Monthly Tuition $85.00 p/month
  • DANCE TECHNIQUE & CONDITIONING CLASSES: Monthly Tuition $100.00 p/month
  • COMPETITION TEAMS: $145.00 p/month (this price includes Monday Technique Class)
  • TUITION: is due the 1st of each month. Payments made after the 10th of the month will include a $10.00 late fee, after 20th $20.00.  Auto-draft will be required on your account for your convenience.  All returned checks will be subject to pay $25.00 overdraft fee and will be required to continue on a cash or credit card basis. Tuition will not be pro-rated for any reason during the month, unless director discretion. Accounts unpaid over 60 days past due will be subject to termination. Problem accounts will be posted in the lobby, and the student will not be allowed into the class until the balance on the account is paid in full.
  • SIBLINGS: Tuition fees for siblings in the same household must be discussed at time of registration with Ms. Amanda. [1st or only sibling will receive a $25.00 discount per month.  2nd & remaining sibling(s) will also receive their classes at a 50% discount per month.] These fees must be fixed at time of registration. Please see front desk for details.
  • MULTI-CLASS: Tuition Fees can be prorated if student enrolls in more than one class. [The first class is regular priced. The 2nd class will receive a $25.00 discount, and 3rd class(es) and beyond will receive a 1/2 price discount toward their overall monthly total. ] These fees must be fixed at time of registration. See front desk for details.

**** Students may not return to class if tuition is more than 60 days overdue.***

  • Monthly tuition will not be prorated if the student is absent or ill.
  • Monthly tuition will not be prorated if the student joins the class during the middle or end of the month.
  • Students may not be eligible to participate in End of the Year Recital with pending fees on their accounts. Questions about Classes & Class Rules?

*** DROP POLICY***

Students who wish to DROP from their enrolled performing class or classes at I AM DANCE, may do so at any given time. However to ensure that the teacher/staff can properly reset choreography and spacing, a DROP fee will be enforced & required along with a written statement via email to the studio director, stating the reasons, circumstances, any and all issues, pertaining to or reasons causing, etc.  The student will NOT be dropped from I AM DANCE without the written consent from the parent/guardian, and will be subject to fees & penalties.  If Costumes were purchased prior for the student, the drop fee ensures the student will receive both costumes at the end of the dance season. *Costume Fees are non-refundable once costumes have been purchased. Individual circumstances will be subject to directors discretion. (After Recital – June).

  • The drop fee is $50.00 p/student.

Classes offered at I A.M. DANCE, Co. are:

  • Ballet
  • Jazz
  • Lyrical
  • Pom
  • Hip-Hop
  • Dance Technique
  • Tap
  • Ballerina Babes
  • Hip-Hop Tots
  • Tiny Tappers
  • Drill Team Prep (January-April)
  • Competition Team (tryout process only)

All classes are first come first serve basis and payment of your registration fee SECURES your spot in the class.  Once classes have reached the max limit, the class will be closed. Classes must have 3 students or more to be a sustaining class in order to compensate a teacher.

  • No chewing gum allowed in class!
  • No jewelry is to be worn during class.
  • Absolutely no food or drink inside the dance studios.
  • If a student misses school due to illness, then he/she is not permitted to come to dance class until illness has past and student has resumed normal activities.
  • COVID-19 – If any student/dancer has been directly exposed to a known positive contagious COVID individual, the student should take precautionary measures to stay home, until the quarantine period has been met. If student is/has showing no signs or symptoms of covid-19 illnesses, student may return to normal activities(per doctor or medical advisement).
  • Masks are permitted however, NOT required inside the I AM DANCE studio lobby or dance rooms.
  • If any student has an accident pertaining to or due to a bodily function they must be immediately removed & dismissed from the class for the remainder of the day. This includes but not limited to urination, defecation, nose bleeds, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.
  • Please be on time! If you arrive late come in quickly and quietly as to not disrupt class already in session.
  • Tap shoes are only to be worn in the studios (not in hallways) bring extra shoes or slides.
  • Hair needs to be out of your face in a Pony-tail, French braids or a Bun. EVERY CLASS!
  • Proper attire is important during dance.  NO JEANS of any kind.
  • Ballet classes – need to have black or pink leotards, pink/white or black tights. Ballet shoes.  Older girls may wear lightweight or sheer cover-up skirts. 
  • Tap Classes – need to dress accordingly and are required to purchase tap or clog shoes. 
  • Jazz/Modern/Pom/Lyrical/Technique classes – need to wear either black jazz pants, black capris or black dance shorts. Workout tops or sports bras are appropriate or T-shirts that are more snug fitting.  NO BAGGY CLOTHING. These classes are also required to purchase either black or tan Jazz shoes or Dance socks. 
  • Toddler Classes – These students may wear colored leotards, and tutus of any color to class. Proper shoes for the genre, and hair out of their face.
  • Hip-Hop classes – can wear loose fitting clothing and regular light weight tennis shoes or jazz shoes.
  • Technique Classes – students will need to be in ALL black attire. Black jazz shoes(or black dance socks), black tights, black tops, etc.
  • Cover-ups should always be worn over leotards outside the studio.
  • We are NOT responsible for articles left at the studio. All items left at the studio will be placed in the lost and found box. Items left in the lost and found after 90 days will be taken to the local thrift store.
